The handover process between the outgoing and incoming council was successfully completed on 15 December 2024. All relevant documents, responsibilities, and ongoing initiatives were formally transferred to ensure continuity of governance. Both councils collaborated closely throughout the transition, resulting in a smooth and efficient changeover that positions the new council to begin its duties with clarity and confidence.
